The Retairment Elusion

The Retairment Elusion

Good lord. The cover says “Retierment,” the sales copy says it’s “Retairment,” and it’s only in the description that you realize it’s actually about Retirement. And the book’s been published for over four years.

I’m also guessing that ‘Elusion’ should actually be ‘Illusion’?

I suppose it could be “elusion” if the book is about avoiding retirement. Given that they misspelled “retirement” twice, though, I’m going to assume they just spelled it wrong.

Hell, if it’s like MY retirement, it’s definitely eluding me. 🙂

Bodes well for the content, doesn’t it, when one of the major words of the title is misspelled?

If “Retairment Elusion” is supposed to be “Retirement Illusion” both major words of the title are fouled beyond recovery.

The Blurb:
“Retirement is suppose to be a time when a man and wife can sit back and enjoy the rewards of their working life. But for Bob and his wife Dr. Helen Townsen, that fantasy soon is about to change.”

Retirement … fantasy … Illusion?
