I like what he did with the title and author’s name. As for the rest, even if those paws were drawn better, it would still be a giant cat next to a planet. And a giant cat that’s floating in space with a nice view of Earth is just not an image that makes very much sense.

This reminds me of those baby animals with the earth in their paws folders we had in school. I guess this is their way of using the 40% rule as not to be in copyright violation. Not that it makes the cover appealing in anyway.
