I understand this is a caption, lest the reader think the red rectangle was supposed to represent ketchup.

“Be careful who you cyberbully”

This… is the cringiest thing I’ve read all week. I’m ready to bet the author has trouble dealing with criticism online, and they feel constantly “cyberbullied” (whatever the hell that means nowadays). So, in retaliation/as an outlet, they wrote THIS.

The entire book is in BOLD TEXT. Jesus.

You gotta be fucking kidding me.

Either that’s an (unlikely) lapse of judgement, or the author intentionally wrote it like that in a half-assed attempt to be “unique”. Feels a little pretentious if it’s the latter.

Nope, I’m not. I even checked, thinking it was one of those “I used bold in the book description and forgot to close the b tag,” which can and does affect the LITB (Look Inside the Book), but that’s not it. His copyright page text in the LITB is regular. So, the use of bold, throughout, is deliberate, and it’s obnoxious as hell. I’m shocked that not one of the reviewers mentioned it. Typos and the like, yes; the bold, no.

Cyberbullies? You unfriend them and put them on your ignore list. Hatcheting is just too much work and the clean up – eyew.
