“He doesn’t spare him his astute observations about their lifestyle.”
What?
“More meets the eye […]”
What?
“We scampered off when a naked bear looking man threw a house slipper at us.”
What? A naked bear looking man? You don’t fancy putting any hyphens in that anywhere?
“[…] laughing at human’s silly attempts at lovemaking.”
No, y’see Charles, with a plural possessive the apostrophe goes after the s.
I like kitty cats, so I find this cute … but as a cover, yeah, there’s room for improvement. Make kitty real big (like a parody of the pensive detective on mystery covers). Throw a background behind him — An alley, a mansion, a window sill with a splash of blood … whatever …
The kitty silhouette should probably be part of the “series name” … NOT the birdy silhouette … As for the fonts, I’ll leave that to someone else …
“No, detective, you can’t has my cheeseburger!”
And I’m grateful you have, Nathan. Where else can I be a snarky jerk?!?
Seconded! (The quality of stories on clientsfromhell has dropped, so here’s my best snark outlet 🙂 )

Now that would look cool!
…that cute cat graphic has a watermark on it… Classy!
Ha! I missed that. Adding the “image search gone wrong” tag…
