Respect your work, people. Even if it’s a thesis. And, for the love of God, respect your AUDIENCE!

I really thought this was going to be a thesis. But apparently the author is a “soon to be retired” researcher at a medical library.

It’s an oddly narrow title/subject for a book. I think a general look at measles (and possibly other infectious disease) treatments from the time period could be a good, full-length book, especially in view of the current outbreak. But this is $4 for under 25 pages’ worth of material.

Is this a story in the manner of The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds? About a kid with a science project, crazy mom, and mean sister?

I think I would rather have measles.

From what I get from the book cover, gamma globulin and amidopyrine SQUEEZE the measles right out of you.

OMG, yes, squeeze the measles out.
As a fan of vaccines and the medical fraternity in general, this cover really breaks my heart. It looks like it was put together by the anti-vaxxers to scare people, but no, it’s from one of the ‘good guys’.

And now I’m really scared.

I think this one takes the award as the most stretched image yet. Even the font is stretched!
