The Smell no evil monkey would really sell it. 😀

And that purpose is to get sloshed on a nice bottle of Mateus Rose.

Reading the description, the poetry is as good as the cover….

All right, I have one of those barrels of monkeys with See No Evil, Hear No Evil, and Speak No Evil. When you open the barrel up, you find a fourth monkey inside: Do No Evil, who is posed somewhat differently than the fourth monkey here… but I suppose…
Notice his frustrated expression? This monkey has his hands tied over his head, so he’s the Has to See Evil, Has to Hear Evil, Can Speak Evil but Cannot Do Evil monkey.
When I first saw this cover I wondered why the monkey was holding a highway torch over his head. Second thought was the Danish “bomb-in-the-turban” jihadist cartoon.
(Those cannonball shaped torches fascinated me as a child; I remember seeing them beside sawhorse barricades holding traffic signs like “DANGER! BRIDGE OUT!”)
Uhhhh….does See No Evil Monkey have….Monk Junk? Really? And the 4th Monkey, as well? Eeeeek!!!!

You know, P.J. O’Rourke mentioned seeing a four-monkey set like this being sold in Hong Kong shortly before China took over, except he said that the fourth monkey had its hands over its balls.

See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil… Fifty Shades of Grey.
Hear no evil.
Speak no evil.
See no evil.
I have a bottle of Pom!
Bad monkey!
Actually, this was a good idea – If it was a mystery novel with better artwork.

Is that a bomb?
Some days you just can’t get rid of a bomb.
No those are his hands over his head tied together with what looks to be a sash or something. Needs tag: Zoophile BDSM.

First thing that came to mind.
When I first saw this cover I wondered why the monkey was holding a highway torch over his head. Second thought was the Danish “bomb-in-the-turban” jihadist cartoon.

THAT’S IT!!!
Exactly!

LOL
Interesting viewpoints about the cover! But I think it has achieved its purpose if the group members are noticing the fourth monkey.
Hope to read more interesting comments… 🙂
