Compared to some here, this isn’t all bad. The overall composition is okay…and FWIW there are circus-like tents and correct use of perspective. It’s not great but at least I wouldn’t completely dismiss the idea of looking inside. Unlike most of the others where I’d rather have a limb removed than crack open the cover!
I agree, the layout is plesaing; it’s just the art that’s noticeably mediocre in comparison but at least they knew enough to place the title in the least interesting part of the picture, unlike some covers on here.

I’ve never before been so comprehensively entertained by the back end of a sheep. And I say that as someone who’s visited both Wales and New Zealand.
