There are many ways to fade one image into another successfully. This is not one. (h/t L.)

That is a fun and original way to show a profile.

… No wait. Not fun and original, what was the term I was looking for?

Horrible beyond all reason!

If they had stuck with the male model, fine. But why have him melting into cobblestone?

The guy looks like the clean-shaven version of Alex Ovechkin. For those of you who don’t know who that is, he’s a hockey player.

Yup. The guy’s face, if whole, would make a striking cover focal point. Should have left it whole and put the brick wall or something else as the background. Even the font treatments are decent.

Missed it by that much.

Y’all know I’m a bitch. So, I have a confession to make: just for fun, every day, I take a look at Shelfbuzz, cause they say they “Handpicked Kindle Books Judged by Their Covers”. There are some jewels making the list, but usually I get a good laugh out of their picks.

Guess who made the list today? LOL

LOL This site is hilarious. I don’t know who chooses the books, but damn, it almost looks like they look here before posting them. 😉
