Nothing like stealing a completely unrelated image off the internet to make your crappy book cover. Could have at least stolen a decent stock image, geez.
Looking at other things by this author, there are some fairly decent covers and books that look properly edited. Just goes to show what can go wrong lol.
Is the, uh, “fluffy” woman supposed to be the bully? Is that why the photo was taken on phone camera zoom?
Because nothing says “School Stongarm” better than a pixelated woman washing a hot pink car.
er, Strongarm (@#*! spelling)
I just . . . I can’t even.
I wonder if Dr Elizabeth Hodds knows that she’s been cast as the “School Strongarm” — http://www.carpages.co.uk/kia/kia-sorento-12-09-08.asp

Someone should tell her. I wouldn’t want to be pixilated on a cover I didn’t endorse either!
Nice way to spoil a perfectly good image and fail to disguise a copyright infringement.
Looking at the excerpt, the writing itself has punctuation and formatting errors and is full of nonsensical descriptions.
‘Whole body hooped with fat, Alene shuffles through the screen door and around the tabby cat with an armload of videos and dumps’

So maybe the author’s name is stolen along with the photo? Can that be done?
The tabby cat has an armload of videos?
and dumps, too.
I just love blurry, ultra low-res photos for book covers, don’t you?
I just love it how they’ve bothered to put a less boring font on the author’s name, but not on the title that’s across the whole freaking cover.
Speaking of fonts, no font boredom tag?
“Font boredom” is mostly for using common fonts for the whole cover.
