Hi, I’m the author of this novel. I’m really interested in doing this right because the book is deeply personal and I want to have a proper cover. I now notice the circles are choppy – thank you. Is the dagger also poorly drawn? Does it look like it needs color? I didn’t expect to find this here but I can’t deny reality. If anyone has any tips, I’d be more than happy to hear them out. Best, Alexander Blum
Hi, Alexander. I think the problems here go further than just colors and circles. I literally can’t tell from the cover what the book’s about, or even the genre. I’ll tell you what I tell many people: You should figure out who the target readers are for your book and what other books they read (“If you liked X, you’ll love 21ST CENTURY SLAVE”), then go to Amazon and see how those readers are used to being marketed to.
Hey! You forgot to colour it! Where did you go…
Well, there’s no numbers.
Before you get down to the guard, that dagger’s hilt looks very suggestive.
