It’s not the lousiest of the lousy. I’d at least pick it up and look inside, although if there were other books next to it, this one probably wouldn’t be the first one I’d pick up.
The problem is that they are not looking at professional covers.
It’s almost (almost) not terrible. For a middle grade book cover. Although the title makes me think YA. Removing the translucent symbol behind the title would help a bunch.
And take the weird texture from her skin.
