Blood on the Bulb Fields (The Fiona Mason Mysteries Book 1)
Thanks, but I’ll stick with this fertilizer from Home Depot.
The Final Game at Ebbets Field (New York Baseball’s Golden Era – 1903 through 1957)
I probably wouldn’t have have posted this without that doubly wince-inducing pullquote.
Tempest is a wild ride from start to finish! Imagine living the same year over 2,000 times – that’s the life of Laura, our fierce and determined protagonist. The story keeps you on edge as Laura uncovers a massive conspiracy while trying to break free from this time loop. The stakes are high and the action is intense.
The international setting is a fun bonus – The UK, Spain, Brazil, and the USA all make appearances. And the F/F relationship is written with care, adding heart to this otherwise gritty adventure.
Be warned though, the book does not shy away from violence – it’s a battle of survival against a ruthless organisation that stops at nothing. But the pacing is spot on, and the tension keeps building, making it impossible to put down.
If you’re a fan of action-packed thrillers with a twist of sci-fi and a good helping of heartfelt moments, Tempest should definitely be on your reading list.
When I say, “Tell me about your story,” this is not what I mean.
