At least she limited herself to one font. If she’d picked a better one, I think this would be a good cover.

The font just screams “this book is not scary”. Yes, the cover art is good and moody but the font kills the cover.

With a better font, this would be great. It’s subtly spooky without relying on gore splashed all over the front.

As usual, it seems somewhat morbid to dwell on the deaths of the year without also recognizing the births of the same year… but with extremely few exceptions (I’m a grandfather now!), we don’t know which of the millions who came into the world this year will be familiar to us by the end of...
