What the hell is the author thinking? I mean…that model is not attractive, at all. She’s wearing makeup that is absurdly wrong, whether for the time period depicted by the carriage (or if Amish/Mennonite). If the plot is about someone Amish swapping places with someone who isn’t, shouldn’t ONE of them NOT be wearing makeup that looks like Cheap Hooker on a $5 Reach Around?
