uh….Do you think that Barbara knows the boundaries of the Apacheria, by 1885? By 1885, the Apacheria was the Apacheover. The Mescalero were pretty much over by 1873. (On designated reservations). Cochise moved to the reservation a year earlier. The last of the Apache resistance had caved in, by 1880. Even the Chiricahua, Geronimo, was finally hunted down by 1886–and he was no longer on the Apacheria. He was in the mountains of Northern Mexico.
Man. It’s just a bummer.
