Something I am dying to know: what the HELL is/are the thing(s) just below the alleged cover blurb? The wood/silver/??? thing? Beneath “Funny Yet So True?”
Anyone wanna take a shot at it? I mean, a guess. Unfortunately, we can’t actually take real, live shots at it.
“… take a shot …” Hey, is that Winchester Cathedral? (ducking tomatoes)
The wood thing looks like a heart shaped brownie with a bite taken out of it and the silver thing looks like a styrofoam cup of hot chocolate with a spoon in it. (sorry haven’t had breakfast)
That brownie, BTW, is actually wood. I can see the planks. But the other damn thing…s**t if I know. That’s impressive, that none of us can make it out.
I believe it was meant to be a wooden heart-shaped box of chocolates; the wooden part is the lid, and that white sliver thing is the bottom part of the heart-shaped box without the lid on it, but the magic wand and/or paint bucket tool obscured most of it with solid red. So not only did the author feel the need to include a floating, heart-shaped box in the sky, but he also didn’t notice or care when said box was flooded by his piss-poor attempt to create a sense of horror by turning the sky red.
“For instance, one thing nobody ever told me was that you should never use the magic wand feature on your image-editing program ever.”

URK! You’re a worse guesser than I am!

Author’s wife:
“Oh, sure. What HE wishes he knew before he was married….”
