When did a slug have a viewpoint and what could it possibly know about children?

It must hate them. Children stomps on his fellow slugs, poke them with sticks, or (gasp!) pour salt on them.

What is that border supposed to be? 1) bloody slug trail, 2) lava, 3) flames.

Whatever it is, I’m sure I could better understand it from the viewpoint of a slug… sigh.

Now which animal’s viewpoint is this from? If only they could have mentioned the creature about 3 times more… Oh, there’s a picture of a slug. On his little purple blankie. All is clear.

My childhood memories of slugs: the mindless slimy enemies of my father’s garden tomatoes, the giant mollusks in “The Monster That Challenged the World”. Good luck selling a book about slugs to children, even with a happy smiley cartoon slug on the cover, you will need a lot of luck to make that work. The sequel will be “Children’s Stories from the Viewpoint of a Vulture”.
