It looks like a funeral not a wedding.

That’s exactly what I thought too! A casket for someone who wanted to be burried with their lame jewelry in a lame miniature treasure chest. Maybe the deceased was a midget pirate.

Maybe the bride is a zombie.

The only thing pirate about this is that print out/drawing of a flag.

So the itty-bitty pirate flag is supposed to clue me in that there’s a pirate in the story? Would have been better off by just zooming in on the pirate flag and cropping out the rest, altho that’s not saying much. Oy vey!

(Wow, replying to my own reply, how lame is that? ;-))

Anyway, I just noticed that the rings and things (pirate booty, I suppose) are in a little pirate chest.

So let’s see. Little pirate flag. Little pirate chest. What do we have here? Hobbit pirates? 😉

Looks more like toilet in an hotel than pirate.

Seriously? This is the book cover for this title?

I really wish authors would not subject us to crap like this. If you’re relying on clip-art from 1988 and plastic flowers to create a pirate-y mood for your book, you are in deep shit.

Why not just use a plain white cover with the words “Pirate Bride,” printed across it? Is that too much to ask?

Okay – yes, you can add your name.

And, yes, you can use all caps. Just quit wasting my time with stupid still-life covers that are DOA.

Not that I would know *cough cough* but most of this author’s ebook covers are this crappy. She must have lost the rights to those classic fuchsia Fabio covers from the 80’s and 90’s.
