That’s what I thought! Isn’t it a well-known plot device/cliche for inferring that the main character is a saviour-like figure in the narrative to give them the initials J.C. (as in, to mimic Jesus Christ?) God only knows what it’s supposed to mean when the AUTHOR does it – and in a far less subtle fashion…!
