From the book’s desription: “…A light-hearted discussion covers various writing genres, character development, theme creation, writing styles and the inclusion of dialogue. Resources available for the new author are explained, where to look for them and what to do with them after they are found….”
And all that packed into 60 (count ’em 60!) pages with a lousy cover to top it off. Clearly this author/cover designer has it going on if he can cram so much advice in that space and turn an aspiring writer’s life around. I’m in awe. Tremendous! I’m also deeply gratified he not only tells us where to look for these grail-like resources but what to do with them after we track them down. (I’d have thought we’d read them, but perhaps more specific instruction is called for.)
My spidey sense tells me the inside’s reflected in the quality of the outside of this book (I know, duh, right?). I recommend the new writers he’s appealing to run the other way. Probably better off on their own than with this guy’s advice, or goddess forbid, holding up his cover as some sort of standard to strive for. Yikes!
Only 60 pages? Wow, I never knew self-publishing could be so easy! It’s just a “romp”.

If just like to know why the title is on a golf ball. I’m enlarging the image now. Oh, now I see that what I thought were golf ball dimples are actually words, words, and more words. Maybe it’s a thesis on golfing.

And people will still wonder why no one takes self-published books seriously…

Is … is it just me or are the words “Oreo, Oreo asked” on the cover?

They are. THEY ARE.
This might work as a “How To Not…” book. But not as a “How To” tome.
