The dragon is deformed and out of focus – at least to my old eyes. And the cat is just a cat, doing his thing and photobombing the hell out of this cover, with no relation at all to the rest of the image.
Also, I love how the rule left of the word “The” is yellow, and the others are grey/white.
I must be getting tired because when first scrolling down, I didn’t notice the lady’s face. What I DID notice: where the top of her dress strap falls on her arm; a veiled Muslim woman hand puppet dressed in white. God, my eyes must be weakening.
This is what happens when two uninformed authors say, “And then, we should add this!”
OH.MY.GOD. ‘We’ve got some space left. Why not add a cat? People love cats, no?’
