That tagline is… weird. Because no. No, chairs do not come with uninvited guests. That is not a thing chairs do. There is nothing foreboding about a chair. And frankly it makes me assume that the novel is about someone who bought a chair second-hand and learned it was haunted, which is about the boringest novel I can imagine, only marginally better than a story about someone buying a chair second-hand and having it not be haunted.
