I think this cover is on the right track. The font is good. While the concept works for me, the lightning is overexposed and the woman in the water… just the way the water wraps around her back doesn’t seem right.
“Rift?” A confusing placement for the series name.
The woman looks plastic. A terrible cut and paste job.

I think this is really quite a magical and evocative cover, and it’s about as close as a poser figure ever gets to being OK. The composition is great and I can even forgive the unnatural water that’s wrapping around his(?) back. But the spindly forearms are distracting, the bevel around the title is annoying, and the word ‘Rift’ isn’t helping at all.
Still, imo this one would be worth fixing because the overall impression is very strong.
