Maybe it’s supposed to be an ugly cartoon sun hastily drawn over the scene. If it’s a story about denial, or childish optimism, it flows well with the title.
Um,..Wow.
That “fi” ligature really rocks. I hardly even noticed the giant upside-down cow.
Or is it Lisa Simpson drowning?
I was going to remark that if it was Lisa Simpson doing a Honey Rider then it would be funny but wrong on a couple of levels.
Cowabunga! Got milk?
Done by the same “artist” who did the cover for “The Switch”?
Peter seems to have had his 4-year-old draw on that sun for him. “Here, honey, paint on Daddy’s cover art…”
Why would an adult who fancies himself a writer do this on a cover? Nah, I don’t wanna know.
Couldn’t the find a better way to display their child’s prize drawing of the sun?
It’s a tentacle monster rising from the sea. And it’s neon yellow because that’s the color real tentacle monsters are. You know. It’s an alien color.
