What’s with the jagged semi-humanoid silhouettes?

So… gay, art deco steampunk then? To be fair though, that has the makings of a pretty good poster for a genre-bending stage musical.

I am the very model of a transgender general.
My gender is not male or female but is quite ephemeral.

Wow, I’m so out of it. I didn’t even know that steam had genders! Are they just male and female, or do they have more genders than that? Does anyone know, is that m/m steam steampunk, or…?

‘The boys, Cole and Horatio, fall in love; the girls Mildred and Edith also fall in love’.
Imo the ideas and the plotting as per the blurb are actually pretty good. The execution though — including the cover, which is so not 1851… well, let’s just say it all needs work.

*It was a freebie, so they threw it in.

*just in case some Seattle gay steampunk fanboys/girls/whatever might be enticed to buy it.
