I was wanting to assume the butterfly photo was deliberately posterized for effect, but it doesn’t simply work and may very well be just another pixelated lossy jpeg artifacted image slapped together.

Swelling Ocean an overwelming force or tide which we cannot control but bears us where it wills to go. I wonder, does Suellen Ocean refer to the civil war or to the passion of the romance?

If it is (and, yes, I expect it is) an om-nom-nom-de-plume, I would change it to Sue Ellen O’Shane just to be a bit subtler. But then there’s nothing subtle about this cover,
