TOTAL FONT FAIL. Might be a blessing…

Cheeky author, putting BY in all caps. 😉

(Okay, someone had to say it. Cheeky. Cheeky. Cheeky.)

I don’t understand the point in any of this text. The font. Nothing. The green claw hand is kinda cool but the gift box is waaay too cartoony. And what’s up with the roses photo pasted on there?

Is it a cake instead of a box? Or maybe a coffin.

I think there is a good idea behind this, it just wasn’t quite pulled off. I like the claw idea, and you can see the attempt to reinforce the title… Maybe the effort that went into trying to pull this off single-handedly will also go into trying to salvage it…

Hello everyone, The author here. I welcome all comments that are constructive, so that I may become a better author and supply my readers with what draws them into selecting my books. Though a few of you may not understand or appreciate my cover art, it was donated to me, so I am very grateful. Otherwise, my cover would have been a black page with bold, block, and white letters. Comments like “Yuck” from James Brown, offer no intellect at all. I’m also curious Ben Ripley, as to what about my cover made you think I hated England. Sure some mistakes were made on the cover, as Sirona pointed out. “BY” was a mistake, but when your on deadline you sometimes have to just go for it. In today’s world where so much negativity is displayed each and every day, don’t you all agree that positive feedback with constructive criticism would better help us. I’m also curious as to how many of you even bothered to read the synopsis or read the 100 pages available on Google read to offer a fair opinion about the book and not just the cover. Thank You!
