“…who liked to doodle during legislative sessions”

…with a #4 thin lead pencil.

Is the guy a hunchback or that’s just his coat so heavily padded on the shoulders?

He’s smuggling the bat he hit the dead guy with.

The title could use some work as well. It looks like that author was actually trying to make his novel look and sound boring.

Good one, Nathan!

It took me a while – I thought he was some kind of giant looming over a farm. Then I finally figured out that wasn’t a sink with a bottle of ketchup in it. It’s a COFFIN!! with a rose and a bottle of ketchup on it.

A coffin? Oh, ok. Now that you mention it. Also I thought he was holding a cup of coffe, but no, it’s a hat. My powers of observation are sadly off today.

I too thought he was standing in a kitchen. But then why is there a miniature farm…?? Ah! Got it.

Presumably the Mayor and Governor are sharing the casket.

I get it now. He’s standing in a cemetery. Gawd, I couldn’t make out the blocks of whatever behind him to save myself. Don’t look at all like headstones. I figured out the thing in front of him was a coffin but the rest was a mystery.

I think he put on his coat and left the hanger in it. That or his neck is growing out of his upper chest instead of between his shoulders where it’s supposed to be. Guess he must be a bruiser.

It seems to me that one of those headstones is a lectern and another one is a notebook.

Maybe David Byrne’s tailor can make you one, too!
