I can see what they were going for, and it would have been tons better with a professional cover designer who didn’t use… whatever they used.
In a way, I think these ones bother me more than the really terrible ones. When the cover is like this, you can tell that there’s a good idea there, but the execution just falls short.It’s sad.
Joyce and Jim; if you read this, know that you can get a custom, professional cover for as little as $70. It won’t be the best out there, but it’ll be miles better than this. A better cover will garner more sales, because people are more likely to buy a book that looks well put together.
