In a gun fight, a chair is not cover, it’s not even concealment; Wild West 101: in a gun fight you overturn a wooden table for cover/concealment.
Also, I was unaware that the USMC High and Tight(TM) haircut was common among cowboys. But the gal totes a modern semi-auto pistol (Beretta?), so the cover is an anachronistic mix-up anywho.
That’s what I thought when I saw it – “Is that…LOKI??”
And something about ‘Ruth’s’ (MASSIVE) face tells me she aint gonna shoot that gun anytime soon. Possibly because it’s not her original face.

Mr. Ambercrombie-and-Fitch in the back is cracking me up. Everybody on the cover is pasted in awkwardly, sure, but at least the rest of them are looking at the reader and seem like they’re part of the same story.
Ruthless, lousymore.
Their eye-to-shootin-iron coordination seems a little off. I hope nobody is standing on either side of me.
