The gal in the reflection: is she playing a flute, or chewing on a radius’n’ulna with a hand attached?

I see the hand.

Now that Naaman’s pointed it out, I can’t see anything else. I thought she was chomping down on a flute but that is definitely a hand. I am so confused.

Nope, that’s definitely a hand. Also, when I look to the right, her left, I see a…wolfman? creature there. Either a wolfman creature that looks like Lon Chaney Jr.’s wolfman, or…does anyone else see that lone ear sticking up? The Wolfman I see doesn’t jive with that ear, so…DAMN. I can’t sort it.

She’s playing a flute made of a radius’n’ulna with a hand attached. I rather like it.

A very nice pencil drawing but do pencil drawings belong on covers? I think, with a few exceptions, they are too soft for covers where every author is fighting for space and recognition.

It definitely screams ‘broken’. Nice idea, but the execution is lacking.

BTW, I don’t think the eyebrow is pencil, but a heavily photoshoped photo. Not that it makes any difference.

Is it me or does that dragon/canine skill have a bubble tumor on it?
