Mmmm, delectable airplane. Tastes great!
I really have to assume that the silly tackiness of the cover is exactly what the author was going for here.
Just love the “Special Edition” and “Synful Desire” reflections underneath.
And the pretty, sparkly rainbow thingie (a vapor trail left by the jet that looks like it’s about to crash?)
And the artistic (archaic?) spelling of “sinful”.
And the font.
And the obvious genre theme that lets me know exactly what the book is about
What’s not to like about this cover? (Ummm, everything?)
I think “Synful Desire” is supposed to be the author’s name.
I think it’s a typo, supposed to be “Synfuel Diesel.” Probably an expose of the VW scandal, but the author is German and his English is wanting. Right? Even the title makes more sense in German: Koestliche Dinge.
You mean, Vin’s brother, Synfuel?
Isn’t he busy starring in Fast and Furious 8: Blowing Sequels into the Stratosphere?
Synfuel’s working on the screen play for brother Vin’s next blockbuster at this very moment. Working title is “Schell und grimmig: Absolutely not a Fast and Furious Sequel.” In it, Vin’s character discovers he’s been racing a vehicle that is in violation of emissions standards because evil German engineers have…well, you know. Vin exacts revenge on…somebody for…something. It’ll be hard to tell exactly who and what because he tends to mumble his lines.
I particularly like the way the reflections overlap with the text in a way that no reflection actually would.
This is something special indeed.
I’m having a lot of trouble associating a ball with lips and the word “delectable.”
