There’s a story that goes with the photo. We were called to a 2 alarm fire at three in the morning and during the initial attack my air-tank malfunctioned and I was trapped on the third floor. An off duty firefighter took a photo of me trying to get some air, if you notice I only have one glove on. The other glove was lost when I tried to fix my air-tank, you wear gloves for a reason, I ended up getting a dozen stitches in my hand at the E.R. A week later the off-duty firefighter presented me with a copy of the photo. I guess you have to know the story before you can appreciate the cover.

And that’s precisely the problem. If the cover came on the last page of the book it’d be great, but it doesn’t. It’s the front.
Seriously, they couldn’t find a more exciting fireman photo?! They FIGHT FIRES!!!!!!!!
