Minimalism isn’t always the best way to go!
But at least it’s not as horrible as many of the covers showcased here.
Oh yes it is! What the hell! I’ve seen minimalism in a museum but this is sheer crap.
Because getting right to the point isn’t always a good thing.
At least there weren’t any headless torsos.

If only the text were in Arial. Then it would be completely unpretentious, instead of just mostly unpretentious.
I’d go for an all-white background with text in all lowercase light gray Helvetica Ultra-light.
And a headless pseudo-Bigfoot torso, of course.
Yeah, where’s Bigfoot when we need him?
The real winning touch here is that they couldn’t even bother to center the title text.
Extra points for the bad kerning between the A and the T in mate.
