Shopping through stock photos, I’m convinced there’s a division between stock models who remain clueless and those who are so painfully obvious in their “posing.” There’s a sort of second-hand embarrassment there, similar to American Idol auditions. (And no, I’m not the cover artist for the link above – I only do my own covers and try very hard to learn from others’ mistakes!)
Let me explain it to you: This is a site about book covers. Reading the book is not necessary to have a valid opinion about the cover. And a bad cover will make it less likely that any of us will read the book.
