I have too! We recently reviewed a book with that very same kneeling soldier, but it was about Roman soldiers.
Very easy to kern any text in PhotoShop after it’s been rasterized. But then, you gotta have some basic proficiency in PS. Doh!
You CAN kern it by putting the different parts of the word in text boxes and moving them closer together – for those of us who DON’T have PS. Been there and done that. Often.
That would work well in Word.
I’m not in the biz but am learning through you guys what terms like “kerning” actually means.
