All I see is a gun that’s cheating gravity by levitating above the desk.

As if the photo isn’t boring enough, the black and white makes it just that much yawn-worthy. And they could have pasted that gun so it doesn’t look like it’s floating on top of the pen and the cup. Not that it would have made the cover any more exciting. Someone should also tell them that even guns cast a shadow.

Sometimes the covers on this site are disturbing. Sometimes they are boring.
But often, as is the case here, they are the result of incompetent photo-manipulation by someone who has absolutely no design sense. THEY don’t know how bad it is, because THEY are clueless.
Ignorance might be bliss, but I would prefer to look like I – as an author – KNOW WHAT THE H**L I AM DOING!!!
Some people just can’t see it. Call them design blind. It’s just one more reason to hire a designer. The tragic thing is, you can get a decent cover on fiverr for as little as 5$. I’ve seen those covers, and while they’re not the most spectacular covers you’ve ever seen, they look a whole lot better than this thing.

I thought at first glance the title was Cheafing Beath.
Not a good sign that the author has any clue.
The floating gun, the font, I could go on.
The only thing Judy Reveal has REVEALED
about this book is a total lack of design sense.
Sorry Judy.
The really sad thing is that you could just buy a replica gun toy and use it to take the photo. Found a bunch of realistic-looking ones on Amazon for around ten bucks each. From a distance, maybe at the right angle to hide any plastic seams or odd details that don’t match the real thing, and it’d look fine. I just.. I don’t know. Just try a tiny bit harder, for pity’s sake!

I admire anyone who is so well organized that they keep their gun right next to their coffee and notepad.

Maybe the gun is just an extra-capacity battery holder for the ink pen.
Smallest gun in the world, too.
OMG! SO true! I was so taken with the cut and paste, I didn’t notice the scale!
