That hand isn’t just 15 years older than the face, but it is also from a gigantic man’s cadaver. Maybe AndrĂ© the Giant’s?

Maybe in addition to a “cut and paste” tag for LBC, there should be a “Frankenpaste” tag, for covers where monster-people have been assembled from spare parts.

(zoom in on hi res image) The sleeve of her sweater is so tight, it has cut off circulation and her hand and lower forearm are swelling!

There is an epidemic of lousy book covers with cut’n’pasted elements with no sense of perspective or proportion; this requires an emergency response from CDC (Center for Design Control).
