If it weren’t for the monkey it would at least make sense. A goth, chicklit, cozy mystery. Uh huh.
It’s pretty bad when a chimp is laughing at the cover.
Moral of story: if you’re going to use a hodgepodge of clip art, at least make sure the style is kind of sort of consistent.
An ad for Barbie as Grim Reaper?
The tombstone behind Barbie gives her body an unfortunate shape. Almost deformed.
I think the chimp is there to point out that the title is referring to the phone that doesn’t look like a phone in the zombified hand.
So that way – we get it.
Maybe her figure’s what you get when you cross Picasso and Barbie, and give it a Poe theme?
