No offense, but in case of a dragon attack I’m tripping you to make my getaway.
Big blue dragon seems more interested in
him (or her) self than in destroying those
lame looking kids. Big blue mistake.
OK, so we’ve got rugby, lacrosse, and… there’s a game that’s played with candy canes?
I’m going to guess that the mystery sport is field hockey.
This looks like quidditch meets dragon challenge from Triwizard Tournament meets unimaginative writer. The blurb sounds a bit more imaginative, but still…

The threat from the past is this artwork, drawn by the author at age 11.
I’m always hesitant to say anything too harsh about artwork that clearly was created by a small child. So, I’ll point my criticism at the adult who thought it was a good idea to take it off his refrigerator and put it on the cover of this book.
You guys should check out the new cover. Same concept, just much different art. Just follow the Amazon link.
Wow. Kids grow up (and shirtless) so fast!
