what kind of parasite is that on gnawing the dude’s face?
And what kind of repellent-based eyeshadow can you buy to prevent them?

Otherwise known as “How to Ruin a Perfectly Decent Cover”. Besides the “Contemporary Romance” cutting slightly into byline, “Beauty” cutting into “and”, which are all minor issues, it’s a surprisingly good cover, especially considering we’ve seen this author here before. I could also ask why the “writing as” or why does the woman have dark armpits, but let’s not nitpick… Why did she have to ruin it? Why?
Lets give the “writing as” treatment to a few other authors.
Samuel Clemens writing as Mark Twain
Theodore Geisel writing as Dr Suess
James Rigney writing as Robert Jordan
Alisa Rosenbaum writing as Ayn Rand
Eric Blair writing as George Orwell
Yeah, totally works.

“We are the Borg. Lower your dress and surrender yourself. Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile.”
That’s one giant MSPaint eyepatch.
Also, Lilly LaRue–haha!

I ask romance authors to please stop using this image. I’ve seen about 30 different books all using it.
If stock images were models, this picture would be Francisco Cura.
