Stanley was so spellbound watching the big-screen TV news coverage of the intergalactic wormhole his campfire had created, that he was completely oblivious to the Unidentified Font Object that had zoomed in from nowhere and was about to crash land on his noggin.

What’s with all the sci-fi type covers where the planets have no atmosphere? How else can you see stars like that in broad daylight? And where is this planet to have such a close view of that galaxy? Is it me, or are the background shadows opposing the foreground shadows? Maybe all this explains the dude’s expression…

Nathan, could you delete my previous version and replace it with this one? I had not heard the news at the time I posted that yesterday.
Stanley was so mesmerized watching the big-screen TV news coverage of the intergalactic wormhole his campfire had created, that he didn’t hear Ollie’s warning that an Unidentified Font Object was about to make a fine mess on his noggin.

The reflection in the lake does not match the sky and parts of the mountain seem to be missing (look at the right in the reflection).

Chloe, you certainly are not. I saw this on an Indie writer’s FB group and this site was the first thing that came to mind.
Lol, no I was referring to the guy on the cover. He’s rolling his eyes too!
Five seconds earlier his shoes were white… Then he looked up!
