There’s so much wrong with this cover I don’t know where to start. Aspect ratio – yes, no-brainer there. Gushy blurb right at the top from an obscure nobody org. Total bad art on entire cover – it’d take a small book to discuss all that’s horrible about it. No tag line or indicator of what the book’s genre is.
The description on Amazon suggests the character in the book is an actual Indian (i.e. from India) and not a Native American. Book might not be so bad, but cover is horrible.
Holy Cow… boy!

TOTAL FAIL, IMHO!
No only that, but the term “Indian” for Native Americans is OFFENSIVE.
Yeah, but who’d buy a “cowboys and First Nations people” western?

And why does it matter?
Sorry, but I don’t see any good reason to not use a term someone might find offensive.
The cover is a “change from the norm” all right.
What happened here?!
Looks like someone has been hitting the peyote.
So the cowboy from India turns into a giant blob during the full oblique moon?
