If I were squished horizontally to 50% width I would be in tears too. You can pull this in a paint program and skew horizontal 200% to get an idea what the artwork should look like.
Free Tip: Crop artwork to book cover dimensions, don’t skew the aspect ratio to fit. It never looks good.
