Well, you are assuming that’s a road. Perhaps the girl is down cast because someone parked their car blocking her favorite footpath and she is afraid of picking up ticks or poison ivy if she tries to walk around it in her shorts and bare legs and she so wanted to take a walk before sundown, but darn those inconsiderate parkers.
Yeah, I am assuming that’s a road. I admit that said assumption could be a mistake, but the gravel texture is different in the middle than on the sides.
It looks like she broke down on a country road is waiting for Bo and Luke Duke to come racing by to rescue her.

Given the subject of the novel (gal whose life sucks and is possibly in love with her cousin), dumping the chick would turn this cover into a case of false flagging. It’s the car that would have to go… and the forest, unless the arranger can find a shot of the gal against a darker background to splice into this picture.
Get rid of the car and the girl and it’s a passable cover.
Get rid of the girl and the forest and it’s a passable cover. 😉
As much as I love the SS Camaro, it’s too big by about 20% relative to the size of that road.

I vote for the SS Camaro. And maybe it’s 20% too big because it was exposed to gamma radiation.
The Lady or the Tiger…
The Hot Chick or the Muscle Car…
Decisions, decisions… 🙁
the car will last longer.

Sure, ruin it for me with your false flagging rule.
It’s probably Bigfoot’s car, anyway.
Oh, the title is “Nev”? My bad, I thought it was “New”.
Not my fault, though. Font Failure! 🙁
