Seriously? Are you sure of the title? I can’t make it out. That whole bottom half of the cover is un-freaking-readable…and don’t get me started on the top half.
I can read them if I try hard enough. But…it looks like the book has about four different titles. Those random font changes aren’t helping.

The “& the” of the title disappear on the steeple; they’re there if you look hard or open the cover jpg file in a graphics program and tweak the red-green-blue levels and apply “sharpen” or “enhance edges” filters. This is not a cover for browsers who may expect to just look at a cover and read it with no effort. This cover is like a challenging treasure hunt. Instead of where’s Waldo, it’s where’s the text. It’s there for the worthy who seek it.
Blue text over blue, purple, and brown background elements is not very distinctive or clear. Especially in thumbnail.
Oh good, I wasn’t the only one who noticed it. It took me three glances at the cover before I even realized what was going on.

Decorum and good taste, the very hallmarks of this venue, should preclude one from following the cowboy’s rebounding gaze of disapproval to its ultimate destination. But one could observe that the expression of the bride is “Busted.”

‘The Wayward Bride…’ ‘The Foreign Bride,’ ‘Mail Order Bride’… is this book about a bride, by any chance? I wish they’d SAY, instead of being quite so obscure about it…
Sometimes the overly subtle hints on some of these covers can be annoying. If this is about a bride, they ought to just be open about it and stop teasing us.

Wow. Not sure which half is worse. Dang.
