Nathan’s right. If you’re into Rom-Coms, the description does sound cute (ish), and I could think of a million (okay, at least 3, offhand) titles for this book that would have worked better, and could have had decent cover art done. The Cantaloupe Caper; The Baker’s Dozen Doesn’t; Um….something. Something other, than that. Yes, it’s descriptive of the opening, but…meh.
Fortunately, this author seems to experience buoyancy against the anchor-weight of this cover. She has 15 good reviews and seems on her way to a nice career at it.
(You know, even better artwork could salvage the cover, WITH that title, if needed. Just sayin’.)
This cover, meanwhile, was designed over a salad lunch at a summer camp.
