Just checking in. I gave an author interview to Fiona McVie and spotlighted the Lousy Book Covers thread as follows:
Fiona: Who designed the covers?
Patterson: I do. I love to do it, although professional book cover designers have castigated my designs and their execution. But I generally create the cover early on in the authoring. I make no claim as an artist, but a book is my creation and you can pass judgment on the cover. I belong to the Lousy Book Cover group on Facebook, and often laugh along with those who hate my covers. It’s one of the perks.

Hey, let’s make some snow angels! 🙂
*YIKES* Did someone call the KKK?
I think they are worshiping in hopes of gifts of starch, to fix their droopy hats.
They are praying a song of thanksgiving to the elephant god for not stepping on them.
Well – that’s what I see.
So, um, they kidnapped a tree? Yeah, well done, guys. Now what?
This would make a good cover for a story about a haunted ent.
