It looks like the author is making this e-book available for free; and because it is an e-book, image problems will be less noticeable than on a real book. Better quality and less-cut-n-pasty images couldn’t hurt, though.
I’ll offer the author this suggestion using the MORE IS BIGGER philosophy and a font that is slightly MORE legible and much less ummmm:
Not Knopf quality but probably passable for an e-book. Done with free software and a free font, so the author would have no investment in anything other than a little time.

Except for the well-hidden author name, it’s not a bad cover. Decent background that fits the foreground. I just hope the book is a fantasy and not a cookbook.
And so nice to see that dragons are going green! HOw eco-cool is that?
And also nice to see that Wolfie hasn’t been dumped (again) on a cover. I’m sure Wolfie’s happy about that. 🙂
