Crossroads

Again, try reading this at anything less than full size. (Bonus: Not a crossroads.)

This cover/picture looks familiar. Has this book been done here before?

I was going to say the same thing — I feel like I’ve seen that photo before.

Can’t decide whether it’s because I *have* seen the photo before, or because it’s so generic I’ve seen dozens of other photos like it.

It’s the same photo that was used as on the cover of this book — http://www.acuchoice.net/product/the-gift-of-oriental-medicine/

Probably a common stock photo because I’m sure I’ve seen it elsewhere.

“It’s deja vu all over again!”

Either way – it’s totally boring as presented here. The fact that the title/author name fade into it just completes the *yawn* factor.

It looks more like a stairway to boredom.

This cover is a total game of golf.

(It’s a good walk, spoiled).

Bonus points for referencing Twain!

This cover is sheer poetry :

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other.

(Robert Frost)

Except that this cover doesn’t even have an “other.” 🙂

There is a distinct lack of crossroad on this cover for a book called crossroads. I agree.

It’s like picking Door #1, Door #2, or the Door With the Goat. You pick whichever one you don’t have!
